Day 01-ARRIVAL
 

Arrive in Delhi & transfer to hotel.
 
 

Day 2 DELHI-AGRA (225 kms/4 hrs)

Half day sightseeing of Delhi. Start the day with a visit to the tallest tower in Delhi, known as Qutub Minar. Following this visit the Lotus Temple &explore New Delhi which is also known as Lutyens Delhi, in the name of a British architect who was largely responsible in designing India Gate, The Presidential House, Secretariat, Parliament House and many other buildings in central Delhi. Depart for Agra and overnight at hotel.  


 

 
 

Day 03- AGRA

Start the day with a visit to the world famous Taj Mahal -The world famous mausoleum of Shah Jahan’s wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj has been aptly described by the great Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore as a teardrop on the face of time. After the Taj you can visit Sikandra - The tomb of Akbar the Great & the first monument in Agra built in white marble and red sandstone.

The next stop for the day will be the Red Fort- which is 2.5 km northwest of the Taj Mahal. This is referred to as the most important fort in India. All great Mughal Emperors such as Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jehangir, Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb lived here. It is a perfect testament to the glory of the Mughal Empire. The last monument for the day will be Etmad Ud Daulah a Mughal mausoleum often described as a 'Jewel box' & also referred to sometimes as the 'Baby Taj'. Day 04- AGRA-FATEHPUR SIKRI-JAIPUR (250 kms/5 hrs)

Depart for Jaipur visiting Fatehpur Sikri en route, the now deserted city built by Emperor Akbar. Though the city took 15 years to build, it was abandoned after only 14 years because the water supply was unable to sustain the growing population. The surviving palace and mosque are a tourist attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Option to visit the Bharatpur Bird sanctuary with naturalist to see the beautiful species of birds. Arrive in Jaipur and check-in. In the evening enjoy an excursion to Chowki Dhani for a taste of authentic Rajasthani cuisine.

 
 

Day 05- JAIPUR

The beautiful city of Jaipur epitomizes the spirit of Rajputana. It is popularly known as the Pink City because of the extensive use of the locally abundant pink plastered stone. Start the day with a visit to the Amber Fort Palace and enjoy a ride on the back of a decorated elephant to the top of the fort. Next stop will be the City Palace a delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture followed by Jantar Mantar- an 18th century observatory. You can finish the day by visiting Hawa Mahal- the ‘palace of winds’.

 
 

Day 06- JAIPUR-PUSHKAR (150 kms/3 hrs)

In the morning depart for Pushkar. A small town set on the banks of the holy Pushkar Lake, Pushkar is a pilgrimage site for millions of Hindus. In Pushkar visit the only standing Hindu temple in India dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe, the structure around the temple was built in the 14th century and stands on a high platform near Pushkar lake. The city has numerous ghats such as Varaha and Gau, where you can hear continuous chants of Om & witness priests performing elaborate aartis & sadhus in constant meditation.

 
 

Day 07- PUSHKAR-BIKANER (280 kms/6 hrs)

In the morning depart for Bikaner which is ranked as one of the major tourist destinations in Rajasthan. Major attractions include the awesome 15th century, Junagarh Fort, the one fort said to have never been captured. It houses red sandstone and marble palaces like Anup Mahal, Ganga Niwas and Rang Mahal; a royal temple called Har Mandir, and a museum. The beautiful Lalgarh Palace, is a blend of Rajput, Mughal and European architecture. It is has a collection of oil paintings and hunting trophies. Temples in Bikaner include the 15th century Bhandeswari Jain Temple that is adorned with beautiful mirror work and frescoes & Shiv Bari dedicated to Lord Shiva and Karni Mata, dedicated to the Goddess Durga and famously known as the ‘rat temple’. The Camel Research Farm-a one of its kind breeding center in Asia is extremely popular with visitors.

 
 

Day 08- BIKANER-JAISALMER (330 kms/7 hrs)

In the morning depart for Jaisalmer. On arrival check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

 
 

Day 09- JAISALMER

In the morning explore Jaisalmer which is the oldest "living" fortified city in Rajasthan. Located in the heart of the Thar Desert on the far western border of India, it was strategically positioned on one of the central Asian trade routes. Sonar Killa, literally "Golden Fort,"- is the world's only inhabited medieval fort, its families living in homes they have colonized for more than 800 years. Built entirely from yellow sandstone, the fort rises like a giant sandcastle from its desert surrounds, with great views from the tiny guesthouses that lie within its ramparts.

 
 

Day 10- JAISALMER-JODHPUR (300 kms/6 hrs)

In the morning depart for Jodhpur. On arrival check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

 
 

Day 11- JODHPUR

Jodhpur in Rajasthan also known as "Sun City" features many palaces, forts and temples, set in the stark landscape of the Thar desert. It is also referred to as the Blue City due to the blue-painted houses around the Mehrangarh Fort- which is the main tourist attraction. You can also visit the Jaswant Thada- A royal cenotaph made up of white marble built to commemorate Maharaja Jaswant Singh.

 
 

Day 12- JODHPUR-MOUNT ABU (300 kms/ 6 hrs)

In the morning depart for Mount Abu- a pleasant retreat set amidst the lush forested hills & the only hill station in Rajasthan. Its stunning array of exquisite Dilwara Jain Temples, dating back to the 11th- 13th centuries, make it a popular pilgrimage centre.

 
 

Day 13- MOUNT ABU-UDAIPUR (150 kms/3 hrs)

In the morning depart for Jodhpur. On arrival check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

 
 

Day 14- UDAIPUR

Udaipur is known as the City of Lakes & is known for its Rajput-era palaces. The main attractions in the city are the City Palace Museum & Jag Mandir, located in the island amid the Lake Pichola which is one of the central attractions in Udaipur. In the evening enjoy a boat cruise on the lake.

 
 

Day 15- UDAIPUR-DELHI BY AIR (535 kms/ 1 hr 40 mts)

Transfer to the Domestic airport for flight to Delhi. In Delhi check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

 
 

Day 16- DELHI

Transfer to International Airport
